NDIS Funded Nursing
Nursing will be funded for NDIS for various areas:
- if the nursing needs is related to one's disability
- nursing can also be used to provide training to support workers to assist with areas such as stoma care, wound care etc
In Home Carers
Support workers / In Home Carers assist with:
- personal care
- home care
- shopping
- community participation
- attending medical appointments
- social outings
NDIS Funded Social & Community Programs
NDIS fund support workers who can take you to social and community programs. These community programs may consist of:
- holiday programs
- activities at the local library
- activities in the community such as movie groups, lunch groups, day outing groups
- attend activities such as hydrotherapy or
- community events with family and / or support worker
- participate in a sporting activity - for example, lawn bowls, football etc
