Professional Experience
With extensive experience in supporting adults with diverse needs, I focus on building trust and fostering collaboration to ensure participants receive the right supports to enhance their independence and quality of life. One of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had was supporting a participant facing depression and suicidal ideations who in the past have spent months in the hospitals due to his suicidal ideations. Through proper implementation of his NDIS plan, I have been able to put in supports to help him manage his days better and feel less ideation. The participant’s plan was just reviewed recently and NDIS funding increased by over $80,000 with supports for employment added. The participant has gone a year without sleeping over in the hospital. As a NDIS Support Coordinator, my primary focus is to help participants understand and navigate their NDIS plans, connect them with appropriate services, and ensure their plans are effectively executed to reach their goals. I am dedicated to empowering participants by coordinating personalised supports that align with their individual needs, preferences, and aspirations.
