Professional Experience

I am passionate about empowering adults to achieve their goals and maximize the benefits of their NDIS plans. With over nine years in community services, I’ve supported clients with complex needs, including a recent case where I helped a young adult with ASD transition to independent living by coordinating mental health, employment, and social supports. One memorable case involved assisting a participant with complex physical and psychosocial needs who was at risk of losing their housing. I coordinated multidisciplinary supports, including occupational therapy, psychosocial recovery coaching, and housing advocacy. Through a collaborative approach, we secured stable accommodation and implemented a plan that increased the participant’s independence. The main challenge was navigating the participant’s initial reluctance to engage with supports, but through consistent communication and building trust, we achieved remarkable progress in improving their quality of life. I am committed to providing personalized, client-centred support, helping participants navigate the NDIS with confidence and achieve meaningful outcomes.
